I applied for the job of a Critic, but God said the list was long and full of highly qualified people.
Besides the take home pay is lousy, broken spirits and shattered dreams.
So I said what do I do?
God said apply for the job of an optimist. There are vacancies all over the world.
The pay is good and the benefits are amazing. You get to laugh a lot, be happy and see the good in your fellow man.
And best of all, you are doing my work for me.

This is a subject close to my heart, my background in engineering was wiring control panels for power stations that had many miles of wires in them taking several months to complete
In them days T.V. remote controls had to have a wire running across the room
Eric Giler shows not only how useful wireless electricity actually is also the enviromental impact that batteries and our never ending desire for them (40 billion per year) is having on the earth.
this breakthrough technology is now available, and hopefully we should see it rolled out very quickly which will save us all time and money
This video shows the stunning breakthroughs being made in Robotics, the speed at which the mechanical hand operates and what it can do, are truly sensational.
This will give huge hope for the future.
You wonder how long will it be before this sort of Robotics can replace damaged Human limbs.
Thanks once again to the guys at Brasscheck TV.
Please leave a comment below and let me know what you think,is this a wonderful thing or a little scary as to what we might look like,or be able to do in 10 years time?

The reason I love Nightingale-Conant company so much is because of the simple wisdom and philosophy of its founder Earl Nightingale, in this one video there is a complete course for living a successful life, a life full reason and purpose.
The true Magic of “The Strangest Secret” is to inspire all those who listen to a much better life.

King Henry ; “All things are ready if our mind be so ” Shakespeare: Henry V
An interesting although complex childhood ( well, that`s how the psychiatrist described it ) with parents who were at war with each other ending in a messy divorce , left school at 16, with no more than a bollocking to show for it.
Given my lack of education, I was fortunate to get an electrical engineering apprenticeship. I`d thought I would say those wods out of nostalgia, as we do not seem to have much in the way of engineering these days.
Here`s where you should start to worry, I,and two mates did all the electrical wiring , for the central control panels, for not one but two Nuclear Power Stations, following diagrams that I will swear to God, the Engineers kept changing because they did not understand “quite how it all works just yet.”.
All this done on the second floor of a converted cotton mill in Guide Bridge, Manchester. If you have seen the film “The China Syndrome ” with Jane Fonda , that`s what the control panels looked like. The marvels of cutting edge technology eh ?
Anyway, onward and upward, Married at 20 years old to my childhood sweetheart Karen and blessed with two gorgeous girls, left engineering to work at what was regarded as the family business (both Grandfathers, dad, several uncles, both brothers and my sister) in Manchester`s then thriving newspaper printing Industry , which has now disappeared (was it something I said ?)
I was working on Nights at the Daily Mail when the wheels well and truly fell off. I had a Brain Haemorrhage at 31 years old, It looked like Time`s Winged Chariot had come to whisk me off to the makers to explain what I had done with my time on earth, ( probably for another bollocking ! )but as it happens they only paid a fleeting visit.
It did however, leave me semi -paralysed down my left side, face , arm and leg, but worst of all, with the attention span of a three year old, and a learning ability not much better, and I could not even remember who my Dad was when he visited, I felt his love, just did not know who he was.
The Doctors told me to “get used to it” this was my new reality. Why am I telling this ? because it is relevant. With the unending love and support of my wife Karen, I started to relearn things that were once second nature , walking without falling over, talking without slurring, eating without spilling most of the food, and most of all to begin to read and understand simple things like newspapers again.
It took along time, with many frustrations and setbacks. I have since made a full recovery, the learning `thing` really grabbed a hold of me and that`s when I found about The Nightingale-Conant Company.
They were cassette tapes series in those days, ( nowadays it`s cd`s and mp3 ) which I still have and cherish. using them, and other books and training , I have been able to gain amongst other things:-
Diploma In Hypnosis & Psychotherapy
Masters in NLP from Bandler,McKenna, Breen.
EFT level 1
Compete as a Tri-athelete, ( long swim, even longer bike race then a run)
Qualified PADI scuba diver, we did this together on the day of our 25th wedding anniversary in Koa Tao island Thailand
Head Chef in a busy restaurant, we even had my ultimate hero Muhammed Ali as a guest at the opening.
Also making a living in sales and designing of kitchens in houses ,especially Barn conversions worth up to, and over a £1m or about $2m
So from the depths of despair, with love and support and the right Inspirational material you can do what ever you want That`s why ever since then, I have considered my self just a tourist in reality
